Rays Dohhouse

Rays Dohhouse

This is not your traditional sign, but it’s one of my favorites of all time. It is located just off the shoulder of Northbound I–75 in Michigan. It feels like the middle of nowhere, which adds to the effect, but it’s really just a mile or so south of Wolverine, Michigan. I have been passing this thing on my way up north for years. What I really like is the more recent addition of DirectTV and traditional yagi television antennas. It’s actually the fact that these antennas have no cables going to them that makes me know for sure that it is indeed a joke. But it is a well-done joke, nonetheless. And it wasn’t until I stopped to take this picture that I noticed that it actually says “doghse”, not “doghouse”.

Last trip up, I saw that more has been added. Next time up, I will have the camera with me.
